Digital Ambassadors 
Our Digital Ambassadors are part of a city-wide initiative that empowers children to promote online safety and positive digital behaviour within their schools. The Digital Ambassador Project was commissioned following the Manchester Children’s Safeguarding Conference 2023 and aims to develop Digital Safeguarding Ambassadors in primary schools across Manchester.
Through training workshops and in-school activities, our ambassadors have developed their understanding of online safety and cyberbullying, helping to make the online world a safer and kinder place for everyone.

Cyberbullying Animation
Our Digital Ambassadors created an animation to help children understand what cyberbullying is and how to respond safely if it happens to them.
The animation explores three possible responses to cyberbullying: being mean back, staying silent or telling a trusted adult. Through Toby's story, pupils are encouraged to think carefully about the consequences of each choice and learn that seeking help from trusted adults is the safest and most effective response.
The project was designed and presented by our Digital Ambassadors following their training through the Manchester Digital Ambassador Programme. Their aim was to raise awareness of cyberbullying in a way that is engaging, easy to understand and relevant to younger children.

The Choice: Be a Good Bystander
As part of their work on digital safeguarding and positive online behaviour, our Digital Ambassadors created this short film to encourage children to think about the choices they can make when they see someone being treated unkindly.
The film explores the important role of a bystander and shows how our actions can make a difference when someone needs support. Through drama and discussion, it encourages pupils to consider how kindness, empathy and speaking up can help create a safer and more supportive environment for everyone.
Created by our Digital Ambassadors, this project helps raise awareness of bullying and cyberbullying while promoting the message that we all have a part to play in looking out for one another.
