History of Webster Primary
We are proud of our tradition of education in Moss Side.
Webster Primary School is now a two-form entry community school for children aged five to eleven years old and has nursery places for three and four-year-olds. The school is housed in the single-storey building opened in 1973, together with a separate two-storey building erected in 2019. Playgrounds and fields are situated to the side and rear of the school.
People think we've only been here since the seventies. Well, they're right...if they mean the 1870s. Ever heard of Webster Street School? Did you know that we once had a playground...on the roof?!
