We raised £533.04 for The National Autistic Society during World Autism Awareness Week!

The Rainbow Rooms supporting pupils with ASD and SLI.

We are proud to include pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Specific Language Impairement in our resource provision.  The Rainbow Rooms opened in September 2011 and is part of our whole school community.

Pupils with ASD and SLI are encouraged to spend as much time in their mainstream class as possible. Pupils have individual timetables to meet their needs in a flexible way.

All staff are trained in strategies that can be used to support Rainbow Rooms pupils. We have a specialist teacher and two specialist teaching assistants who support pupils in the Rainbow Rooms and across the school.
