Each half term Mr Fairless and Jackie run a Cooking Club for about seven weeks, giving children a chance to make a balanced range of delicious savoury and sweet treats.
Each Thursday the children learn more about the food we eat and how it is made, then get to learn some new skills themselves whilst having a go!
This term the children have learnt how to make healthy fruit kebabs and flexed their muscles whilst kneading the dough to make pizzas. They also had a go at reading scales while measuring ingredients when we made gingerbread.
The children have really enjoyed cooking this term and learning something new!
